I. Technical Parameters (Based on Industry Tests)

• Structure: Horizontal multi-pressing chamber with end-face oil outlet. Single chamber loading capacity is approximately 13 kg (varies slightly depending on material characteristics). 4-22 chambers/chambers can be connected in series.

• Pressure: Hydraulic pumps utilize a high- and low-pressure dual pump combination. The high-pressure pump is designed for a system pressure of up to 50 MPa and a flow rate of 9 L/min; the low-pressure pump is designed for a system pressure of 10 MPa and a flow rate of 30 L/min.

• Temperature: Controllable constant temperature of 40-55°C, cold pressing throughout, protein denaturation rate ≤5%.

• Energy Consumption: 13 kW per unit, circulating water utilization rate ≥95%.

• Residual Oil: Residual oil in a single press cake is approximately 11-20% (GB/T 5512-2008).

II. Pressing Process

Pretreatment: Diced product particle size ≤1.5 x 1.5 mm Milling or refining → quantitative conveying → automatic cake loading

Programmed pressing: Low-pressure rapid filling → High-pressure step-by-step pressure maintenance → Automatic cake unloading

Solid-liquid separation: Oil transfer through end-face gaps

Post-processing: Closed conveying of crushed cake → Crude oil filtration → Low-temperature nitrogen-sealed temporary storage

III. Key Technical Indicators (Academic Verification)

• Oil extraction efficiency: ≥ 80% (Liu Rukuan et al., radial percolation model verification)

• Cake residual oil: 11-20% (GB/T 5512-2008 field measurement, n=3)

• Temperature control accuracy: ±1°C, ensuring a 30% increase in V_E and polyphenol retention

• Automation: PLC + touchscreen, one person operating multiple units

IV. Applications

• High-end edible oils: Low-temperature cold pressing of woody oilseeds such as walnuts, camellia seeds, pecans, and macadamia nuts

• Functional foods: High-protein powder and meal replacement powder produced from low-temperature cake residue

• Bio-based materials: solid-liquid separation of plant residues, dehydration of biodiesel feedstock, etc.

• Pharmaceuticals/cosmetics: Retention of active ingredients such as sterols and vitamin E, etc.

• Fine chemicals: Durene, etc.

• Industrial solid waste and coal slime treatment: sewage treatment, coal washing plants, printing and dyeing plants, etc.
